A unique landscape of massive rock formations, fern-filled crevices found nowhere else in Mississippi - more than 600 species of fern, wildflowers, bob white quail, wild turkey, hawks, vultures, ospreys, owls, wading birds; great viewing from diverse 13-mile hiking trail system including 3.5-mile Bear Creek Outcropping Trail beginning at 200' swinging bridge; cliffs, outcroppings, and overhangs, including rock climbing; 60' Jean's Overhang rock; free rock climbing permit at park office; helmets and safety equipment required.
